The World Test Championship final will be played between India and Australia on 7th June 2023, at the Oval cricket ground in London England. It will start at 3:00 PM IST.
The two teams qualified for the final of the World Test Championship following the two-year period. With India's recent series victory on home ground against Australia, they sealed their spot in the finals. In the second instalment of the tournament, the match will be played in Oval, which is one of the most famous grounds in world cricket.
The pitch conditions on the Oval cricket ground will heavily dependent on the weather conditions in England on all five days of the match. If cloudy and gloomy the ball is likely to swing around more for the fast bowlers, so the batsmen will need to be tight in their technique for at least the first hour of the test match.
The Oval pitch is a beauty if the sun shines brighter and the skies are clear. Because generally in England, a sunny day favours the batter as the ball swings less making it easier for the batsmen to clearly judge the line and the length of the ball and respond with a better approach and strategy.
As far as the spinners go, they will not have much help from the pitch of the Oval cricket ground in England. They have to do the holding job, create pressure on the batsmen and help their fast bowlers to pick up wickets.
