ISL 2020 -- Rohit Kumar leaves Hyderabad FC, dons the Kerala Blasters colours

KERALA BLASTERS HAVE signed 23 year old midfielder Rohit Kumar who played for Hyderabad FC last season.

Coming out of the Bhaichung Bhutia Football Schools, Rohit joined the DSK Shivajians - Liverpool FC Academy in Pune. In 2016-17, he made his top division league debut for DSK Shivajians, making 6 appearances in the I-League.

Next season he joined FC Pune City, and over two seasons made 21 appearances. After FCPC folded, he went over to Hyderabad FC and played 9 matches for them last season, starting in 8 of them. He also scored a goal against Odisha FC.

Having a young but proven talent like Rohit Kumar on their roster increases the depth that KBFC have in their midfield, as they aim to win their first national level silverware under newly appointed head coach Kibu Vicuna.
