KERALA BLASTERS RETURNED TO winning ways after a long time, beating bottom-placed Hyderabad FC 5-1 in Kochi.
KBFC beat ATK in their opening fixture and since then the franchise has been winless, despite getting close to clinching victory several times. But facing Hyderabad at home, Eelco Schattorie's boys finally broke that long winless spell in their 11th round fixture last night.
It was the visitors who drew first blood last night, with Marcelinho setting up Bobo to send Hyderabad 0-1 ahead. But from there, the Blasters ripped the Hyderabad defence to shreds.
Right after the half hour mark, Ogbeche scored the equalizer for KBFC and the floodgates open. By half-time, Drobarov and Bouli had also got their names on the scoresheet.
In the second half the home side continued its onslaught in the same vain, with Seityasen becoming the only Indian to score on the night and Ogbeche finishing his brace, securing a mammoth 5-1 win.

This is the biggest victory that Kerala Blasters have ever had in ISL. The win also gave them a leg up in the points table, lifting them to 7th position with 11 points from 11 matches.
As of Hyderabad FC, it seems like they have crossed the point of no return, languishing at the bottom with 5 points from 11 matches; 4 points behind 9th placed Chennaiyin who have played 2 matches less.
