Not just talent at a young age, Jhingan had become a very popular figure among the Blasters fans for the three years with the team. The recently 24-turned sturdy central defender is known for putting his body on the line to block shots.
With his regular national game features, he has tremendously grown into a very mature player. Recently, in the India tri-nation friendly series, Jhingan captained the team and lifted his first trophy as a leader of the senior team. Jhingan has had short spells at various clubs like United Sikkim, Mumbai FC, Salgaoca, DSK Shivajians and Bengaluru FC. But in every club he has been at, he has claimed the starting eleven spot most times. No doubt Jhingan will be the anchor for the Kerala Blasters FC defence fourth time in a row.
