Brave 8: Klidson de Abreu captures gold, Carlston Harris edges out Carl Booth

Brazil hosted the eighth edition of Brave Combat Federation in Curitiba that hosted two championship title fights. Klidson de Abreu emerged as the avenging angel for Brazil against Timo Feucht overcoming all odds.

Klidson won the Light Heavyweight championship title with an armbar submission in the second round. While Carlston Harris raised the Welterweight championship title of Brave Combat Federation in one of the biggest upsets in the promotion’s history. Entering the fight as an underdog, he controlled the much experienced and stronger Booth for five rounds to win the fight by unanimous decision.

Some of the other notable bouts in the promotion included that of Luan Santiago, who improved his Brave Combat Federation record to 2-0, with a first-round knockout of Igor Soares.

Jeremy Pacatiw returned to Brave Combat Federation to represent Philippines. Jeremy faced Thiago Dela Coleta from Brazil and won the fight by way of technical knockout in the second round.
