I-League 2017: Alison Kharsyntiew announced as Lajong head coach for SPL

THE CLUB FROM MEGHALAYA finished fifth last season in the I-League. After their long-stayed head coach Thangboi Singto parted ways, the position was left vacant.

The Fan Garage broke the news of the appointment of Alison Kharsyntiew and spoke to one of the youngest coaches in the history of Indian football to head coaching at an I-League club. Alison, has played at Shillong Lajong from a very young age. Due to an injury that affected his performance, he was force to give up playing but decided to get into coaching. At the age of 19, he got into coaching and has been a great influence and has won many trophies with the younger sides at Lajong.
