The Nizampur-lad remained as the second costliest player in the PKL 5 auction after attracting a bid of Rs 81 lakh. The premium raider, who hails from a family of kabaddi players, missed action in the first two seasons of PKL as he was denied permission by Services Sports Control Board (SSCB). However, in the third season, he took the mat by storm by emerging as the third highest scorer with 109 points. Subsequently, he joined finished as the second highest scorer only behind Telugu Titans skipper Rahul Choudhari, in the fourth edition. With an additional responsibility of captaincy, Rohit will look to continue in his form and lead the top scorer list.
