FPAI Awards: Vineeth grabs fans' player award; best Indian player award goes to Anas

FOOTBALL PLAYERS ASSOCIATION OF INDIA gave away their awards in Aizawl, Mizoram today. At the half-time whistle in the match between FPAI XI and Mizoram XI, the awardees were felicitated.

Following are the award winners:

Coach of the year goes to Khalid Jamil who helped Aizawl FC lift their maiden I-League title.

Udanta Singh once again wins the 'Young player of the year' award.

A special coach award was given to Ranjan Choudhury who coached East Bengal for a limited period.  

Special goalkeeping award was won by Sandip Nandy for his contribution to ISL team Kerala Blasters.

Anas Edathodika grabbed the 'Indian player of the year' award.

'Foreign player of the year' went to Alfred Jaryan of Aizawl FC.

The much awaited award, the 'Fans' player of the year' went to CK Vineeth with 30,000+ votes.

Some other special awards were given away to Deepak Mondal, Shylo Mama and the Mizoram Football Association.
