THE 2016 Edition of the Bangladesh Premier League will get underway tomorrow with a double-header in Dhaka. As we have seen in the previous seasons, marquee cricketers from across the globe are going to be a part of the T20 extravaganza and we can expect some high-octane cricketing action.
THE AUSSIES will host South Africa for a three-match Test series starting tomorrow at Perth. After the opening Test at the WACA, both teams will head towards Hobart and finish with a pink ball Test in Adelaide.
Expect plenty of pace and bounce at the WACA. Pacers from both sides will have adequate purchase from the wicket. Spinners unlikely to have any effect.
AUSTRALIA will take on South Africa in a three-match Test series starting tomorrow at Perth. After being whitewashed in the recently concluded ODI series on the South African soil, the hosts would be desperate to return the favour in the longer version of the game.
We expect another batting surface in Sharjah and we think you would be better off if you pick more Pakistan batsmen as compared to the Windies. Also, we might see some change in the Pakistan bowling line-up.
We don’t expect much assistance for the seamers in Harare. Also, for this round pick majority of the Lankan cricketers. Weather is also set to be fine.
Both teams are unlikely to make too many changes for this round. That said, Jasprit Bumrah might come in for this clash. Also, remember the weather isn’t great in Vizag and we could have a rain-interrupted game. Build fantasy teams based on this.
ZIMBABWE will lock horns against Sri Lanka in a two-match Test series starting on 29th October and it appears that we might just see an even contest as both teams lack experience in the longer version of the game.
ZIMBABWE are all set to host the Sri Lankan’s in a two-match Tests series starting from 29th October. Both Tests will be played at the Harare Sports Club and given the conditions there; one can expect perfect batting conditions for the batsmen.
We expect the spinners to come into play and have a big say in the second Test at Dhaka. Remember, England are likely to rotate their bowling and we feel you shouldn’t take a chance in picking uncertain players.
