UFC Fortaleza Results: Gastelum stops Belfort, Shogun Rua registers a win

UFC ROLLED OUT THEIR LATEST FIGHT night from Fortaleza, Brazil and it had Kelvin Gastelum face off against Vitor Belfort in the main event.

Gastelum registered a first round KO win in the fight to get another major boost for his momentum. This is the third straight win for Gastelum after he registered notable wins against Tim Kennedy and Johny Hendricks earlier. For Belfort, his third straight loss has put him in an awkward situation.

Meanwhile, in the co-main event, Shogun Rua marked his return with a win over Gian Villante. The third round TKO saw Rua make his return to the octagon after almost a year.

Edson Barboza, Ray Borg and Bethe Correia also picked up some much needed wins on the show’s main card.  Below are the results from the show.
