East Bengal's Bikash Jairu returns to fitness ahead of Chennai City fixture

AMIDST THE INJURY WOES, East Bengal have good news as Bikash Jairu returns to full fitness. Playing in the midfield, he is a force that adds more thrust to the attack. East Bengal have been struggling to score in the last two games missing the services of injured strikers Wedson Anselme and Willis Plaza.
Jairu has plied his trade at Salgaocar for two seasons before joining East Bengal in 2015. and earned a few international caps as well.

He suffered a knee injury last year in October that has kept him out of action since then. It is unlikely that he will be played for an entire game but the he definitely becomes a useful asset in the attacking department for coach Trevor Morgan as his side lost the lead in the points table.

East Bengal travel to play Chennai City on Sunday, March 12 at 7:05 pm.
