PRE-MATCH QUIPS: Minerva FC's coach Surinder says team can do much better

MINERVA HAVE BEEN HAVING the best run of form lately. On the team being unbeaten from the past five games, Coach Surinder shared his thoughts on the performance saying,

"Yes, we are getting better. In the beginning we had a bad time. The team is gelling well and so are the boys. The results have also been good"

Coach Surinder was asked if the performances are per his expectations or was there room for improvement. He answered saying,

"We can do much better. For that we are trying hard and boys are also working on that. We have some tough games coming up and Mumbai FC is also a tough fixture"

The entire squad Minerva Punjab players were fit for game today and there were no injury concerns, Coach Surinder shared.

Sharing his thoughts about the game tomorrow against Mumbai FC who are winless in the past 8 games, Surinder said,

"It's a tough game for us. They drew against Bengaluru at home and are doing well. At home, they had won the two games. Got a win against Churchill. They are good team but unfortunately they are not winning but we have prepared and it will be a tough game"

Speaking on the performance of the foriegners in the team, Surinder shared his view saying,

"They are doing good. Two in the center back position have taken charge and doing well in the defence. Victor Amobi is doing good on the wing."

Adding on, he said about his views on Ivan Filatov,

"Filatov, even though he has not scored but does better for the team when he is on the ball and helps the team"
