Mohun Bagan's visit to Shillong Lajong postponed to 12th April
THE I-LEAGUE CLASH between Mohun Bagan and Shillong Lajong which was to be held on 25th February has been postponed to 12th April.
It is because Bagan will be busy with their AFC Cup Qualifiers on 21st and 28th February, facing Club Valencia from Maldives in a double leg (away and home) playoff for a spot in group stage. The change in fixtures was done to allow the Mariners to have some rest amidst a gruelling, long travel routine.
The I-League clash pushed further will give the Federation Cup champions some breathing space. Shillong will look to gather some points at home as they lost 2-0 away at Bagan's home-ground.
