IPL-10 to kick-off on April 5; defending champs SRH will open proceedings against RCB

IPL-9 WINNERS Sunrisers Hyderabad will be taking on Royal Challengers Bangalore in the opening fixture of the 10th edition of IPL which is set to kickoff on the 5th of April. The most watched cricket league in the world is scheduled to last 47 days across 10 venues with each team playing a total of 14 games. Each team plays seven home fixtures and seven away games. 

The cash-rich T20 league will be returning to Indore since 2011 as the Holkar Cricket stadium will be hosting 3 of Kings XI Punjab's home games. The dates and venues of the qualifiers will be announced at a later stage in the tournament while the final will be hosted by the Rajiv Gandhi stadium in Hyderabad on May 21 as per the norm.
 
Rising Pune Supergiants take on Mumbai Indians on the 6th of April in Pune. Kolkata Knight Riders take on Gujarat Lions on the 7th of April in their opening game at Rajkot. Delhi Daredevils take on RCB in Bengaluru on the 8th of April and on the same day Kings XI Punjab take on RPSG at their second home ground in Indore.
