UFC 208 Results: Controversial win for Germaine de Randamie, Anderson Silva shines
UFC 208 turned out to be a controversial night as Germaine de Randamie was crowned the inaugural UFC Women’s featherweight champion. She faced off against Holly Holm in the main event of the pay-per-view and Germaine came under the bad limelight twice for trading illegal blows after the bells.
Despite her actions, she took home the win via a unanimous decision but the fight turned out to be underwhelming. Elsewhere, Anderson Silva got back to a winning track when he defeated Derek Brunson in the co-main event of the night.
