Play-by-Play: Chennai lost the game in the 2nd half; East Bengal still hold top spot

 A COMPACT FIRST HALF DISPLAY BY CHENNAI had East Bengal searching for openings without success. The second half saw East Bengal with change of mindset and they quicly scored the first goal to ease off the pressure of not being able to score. 

The goal seemed to have put off Chennai to some extent as there was a drop in their performance. EB captitalised on that low morale and they added another one. The last nail on the coffin was the penalty given away in the injury time to keep EB on top with 19 points
