Play-by-Play: East Bengal still table toppers; Mumbai had a goal denied; lose fourth in a row

EAST BENGAL HAD TO WIN TO STAY table of the table. Mumbai needed a win to lift their spirits. East bengal shot a two goal lead early in the first half. Mumbai were nowhere close to the EB goal. Only a weak shot was the closest they got. 

A determined Mumbai in the second half saw the changes working in Mumbai's favour. They had two goals denied. one was a clear offside second was controversial. Mumbai had two good shots blocked inside the box but apart from that they failed to create any decent goal scoring chances to trouble East Bengal too much.
