Tanvie Hans wants to play in IWL but pending citizenship is a hurdle to cross

TANVIE HANS, a name that has been common to all the Indian football fans as she has earned her feat in the sport. Played in some of the top clubs in UK like Fulham and Tottenham, she is now part of the Indian Women's League side FC Pune City.

She is happy to be part of the team and the league but one thing still bothers her, that is the Indian citizenship. She is yet to receive it, Tanvie took to Twitter to state that she will still support the team but waiting for the citizenship so that she can contribute on the field.

She has at earlier occasions too made it evident about not receiving the Indian citizenship. And this is India's loss because a player like her is definitely a national team prospect.

Probably after this outrage on social media, it should awaken the ones in authority about the situation.
