Kashyap confident of bouncing back after back to back losses

WITH A BRIGHT START GETTNG TWO WINS OFF TWO Kashyap's Mumbai slumped to their second defeat in the last two games. After yesterday's loss to Aizawl, Santosh spoke to the media and answered questions.

If he felt there was a striker missing up front for yesterday's game,Kashyap replied,

"Yeah we miss that but very happy. Win or loss is part of the game and the results will come. But the players have done their best per the way I want. That is important for my philosophy. I am confident in the future we will be a much dangerous team"

Asked where the game was lost, Kashyap said,

"It was an attacking game and they were also good. They scored on the counter attack. We have four to five corners in the closing chances"

To a question if overall it was a disappointing game, Kashyap replied,

"No not at all. I am confident we will come back"

Kashyap was asked had he been given few foiiegn signings, he could have delivered results immediately said,

"My job is the put in the best efforts under all challenges. And even with the 3 days I got before the first game, we were able to win against DSK. I don't give excuses but there are challenges like budget, not all foreigners"

Two wins to start off with and two back to back losses and now with couple of away games how will you take it forward from here. Kashyap replied,

"I told my players not to put their heads down and their did their best and they must believe in themselves, in their team mates and me and we will come back stronger"

Mumbai will travel to play Shillong Lajong on January 28, 2017 at 4:35 p.m.
