IT LOOKED LIKE AN ONE-SIDED AFFAIR considering Chennai's previous performances against the mighty Mariners. Chennai were determined to not let Bagan have an easy ride. Adn they managed to do just that as they started the game Bagan expected to be fast, never disasppointed but to everyone's surprise Chennai matched that with their balzig counter attacks. Charles and Tank did very well to lead the way in the forefront.
On the defensive side, Chennai were very disciplined and did not let many through passes. This led to the frustration of the Mariners. Chennai took the lead. Bagan hit back within minutes. Chennai had a lot of chances to score and one or two even being sitters. Bagan too follwed suit to increase the lead.
But 3 goals were all that the game had to offer. Chennai lost but they have a lot of positives to take from this game. IF they continue this they can surely go a long way in the league.
