I-LEAGUE DEBUTANTS Chennai City have added more local talent to their squad by securing the services of A Raegan, one of the stars of the Tami Nadu football team.
Hailing from Thoothoor, the striker has been a part of the state team's Santosh Trophy campaign for a while now. In the 2016 edition of the inter-state national championship, Raegan scored 3 goals and helped the team reach the semi-finals.
The striker is known for his speedy movement in the final third and accurate finishing. He is known among the local fans for scoring goals like this one...
Having played only in the amateur circuits till now, this is set to be a giant leap in the player's career. He is available for selection as Chennai City take on Federation Cup holders Mohun Bagan at home, but it's not yet sure if head coach Robin Charles Raja will field him from the get go.
The CCFC faithfuls will hope that Raegan's addition will solve the finishing problems the team has been having so far in the league, so much so that they are yet to score a goal 3 matches into the campaign.
