Abinash Ruidas fined for misconduct in Goa hotel

GOA IS KNOWN for all the fun but it turned into nightmare for youngster Abinash Ruidas. On Monday night, the East Bengal winger went to the beach with friends and returned back pissed drunk.

Following that he was seen puking and fell ill due to which he missed the practise session the next day.

Head coach Trevor Morgan was furious with the 22-year-old's behaviour and wanted to send him back to Kolkata but was persuaded by others to not to as fielding an U-22 player is mandatory.

Because of the U-22 rule the club is not suspending him but they are subjecting him to a big fine as a warning.

Abinash has played well for East Bengal in the last few seasons, mostly in the Calcutta Football League. He rose to fame during ISL playing for Atletico de Kolkata, where he regularly played in the left wing and scored a few goals.
