Parupalli Kashyap ruled out for 3 months; suffered a shoulder injury during PBL final

INJURIES AND PARUPALLI KASHYAP seem to have a life-long relationship as once again he has been hit with an injury and is ruled out for three months.

While playing in the Premier Badminton League finals against HS Prannoy while returning a shot he fell to the ground falling on his shoulder.

After the tie, he was taken for a scan and learnt that he has a labrum tear.

Kashyap had missed out on an Olympic opportunity due to injuries that kept him away from action. He made his comeback performance at the Korea Masters towards the end of 2016. He won Bronze there and was using PBL as a training period, looking to get better with his performance.
