UFC star wins TNA Heavyweight Championship [spoilers]
UFC HEAVYWEIGHT JOSH BARNETT made his TNA debut at this week’s tapings and defeating Bobby Lashley to become the new TNA heavyweight championship.
Barnett would later lose the title to Lashley and the show is expected to air in a couple of weeks. The MMA background that Lashley has should be seen as one of the reasons why TNA decided to go with a Barnett vs. Lashley showdown.
Barnett had earlier wrestled in New Japan Pro Wrestling and is currently under suspension from UFC due to a failed out-of –competition drug test conducted by USADA.
