MATCH PREDICTION: Chennai Smashers to taste their first win over Bengaluru Blasters tonight in Mumbai

THE MUMBAI LEG of Premier Badminton League 2017 begins with Bengaluru Blasters taking Chennai Smashers. The Smashers will be looking to forget the loss and go for the win here while Blasters would love to make it 2 on 2.

This would be a closely fought contest and TFG analyses and predicts the winner of the match based on a possible line-up of players, as the teams have to announce their team and Trump match only an hour before the game.

The Trump match still continues to be there. Each team strategically selects one of the 5 matches that they play in a Tie as their Trump match. In a Trump match, a victory gives the team a bonus point and a loss gives it a negative point.

The difference is in the point system, from 15 points it is now 11 points game which will make it tricky and challenging for the teams.

BENGALURU BLASTERS vs CHENNAI SMASHERS

The following shuttlers are likely to play against each other in their respective categories; men's singles: Viktor Axelsen (Bengaluru) vs Tommy Sugiarto (Chennai); women's singles: Cheung Ngan Yi (Bengaluru) vs PV Sindhu (Chennai); men's doubles: Ko Sung Hyun/Yoo Yeong Seong (Bengaluru) vs Mads Kolding/Sumeeth Reddy (Chennai); mixed doubles: Sikki Reddy/Ko Sung (Bengaluru) vs Adcock couple (Chennai); men's singles: Sourabh Verma (Bengaluru) vs Tanongsak (Chennai).

It remains to be seen which matches each team will nominate as their Trump match.

Smashers will go all out here against the Blasters and register their first win and let's take a look how they shall achieve it.
