BOOK THE DATES: Sachin - A billion dreams to hit the theatres on April 14
THE MUCH-AWAITED documentary film of iconic Sachin Tendulkar - ‘Sachin: A Billion Dreams’ is set to hit the theatres on April 14, next year.
As reported by crictracker, the film will see Sachin Tendulkar playing the role himself, along with Hritesh Arora as younger Sachin and Mayuresh as Nitin Tendulkar. It has been reported that the role of younger Sachin was given to Arjun Tendulkar. The movie is directed by James Erskine and produced by Ravi Bhagchandka with A.R. Rahman scoring the music.
The film’s teaser, which was launched on April 14, 2016, had created an outburst among the legendary batsman’s fans.
The film will release 10 days ahead of Tendulkar’s 44th birthday and it will be interesting to see if master blaster’s biopic can break the record set by limited overs skipper MS Dhoni’s bipic ‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story’. The 2016 film became a blockbuster with worldwide collection in excess of 125 crores.
