Sung Ji Hyun
Another name that Indian badminton fans will be familiar with as she trumped Sindhu in the semi-finals of Dubai SSF.
She too will be seen for the first time in PBL. The World No. 5 from Korea has had three titles to her name this year. Began the year with a title at the India Grand Prix Gold and then at the New Zealand GPG and then towards the end of the year winning the Korea GPG.
She qualified for the Dubai SSF and ended as runners-up losing to the current World No. 1 Tai Tzu Ying.
WHAT TO LOOK FORWARD IN PBL 2017: Mumbai Rockets might have signed a jackpot in Sung who will play a key role for the team in women's singles department. The youngster Vrushali stands a great opportunity to learn from the senior Korean shuttler.
