Aaron Hughes is hoping for KBFC and himself in ISL finale

THE KBFC MARQUEE player Aaron Hughes has been a regular contributor as the franchise has recovered from a bad start and gone on to reach the finals of ISL 2016.

The legendary Northern Ireland international, who has played for established Premier League clubs like Newcastle United and Aston Villa in the past, is very happy with the way things have turned out for KBFC this year,

“In terms of Indian experience I have thoroughly enjoyed it and obviously I came here for football reasons and that was the number one priority, so to be sitting here on the eve of the final I consider it pretty successful so far."

When the reporters asked him about his personal experience in ISL as well as India in general so far, he said he has had a positive time,

"To come to a new country and meet new people, that has been something wonderful for me, so I have nothing but good things to say when I go home and I have really enjoyed it and there are lots of things on my mind but the biggest thing at the moment is tomorrow and I am looking forward to tomorrow and hoping for good things.”

Hughes insists that nothing would top off his experience in India so far like his hands on the ISL trophy tomorrow night, in front of the loud Kochi crowd that has supported his team throughout.
