Play by Play: Belfort stars in Blasters' victory; Delhi peformance was below par
AN EVENLY FOUGHT CONTEST in the first half. Not much to choose between the two sides.
Doblas denied an early attempt and had a couple of nervous moments. But largely Doblas was the busier of the two keepers. Goalless at half time.
Second half was a more physical game. Kerala were intimidating and Delhi were players were losing their cool at times. The goal came through Belfort who was brilliant in the game. Carrying the ball from his own half to the Delhi box was a splendid individual goal, though the ball took some deflection on the way in.
After the game tempers shot up in some incidences. All erupted after the final whistle when players, substitutes clashed with each other.
The first leg ended in a win and clean sheet to Kerala.
