Impressive Jerry Lalrinzuala

The youngest debutant of the Indian Super League and easily the most consistent performer of Chennaiyin FC this year. On the opening game, Jerry came on as a substitute late in the game and within 10 minutes or so after his introduction, he commited a foul to give away a penalty. The penalty turned out to the winner for ATK. It was a mistake which could have cost him his place in the remaining games.

But Head Coach Materazzi believed in him and gave him a start in almost every game Chennaiyin have played in. Jerry lived up to the trust shown in him and did brilliantly even against the players twice his stature and experience. The most memorable moment of Jerry's opening ISL season was free kick he scored from in CFC's last league game. Totally repaying the trust betowed upon him by his Coach.
