Play by Play: Pearson snatches a late victory; Goa's fate is no longer in their own hands

LATE GOAL ASSURED ATK all three points in a game as close the playoff race. The first half belonged to ATK and Kattimani. He saved three to four sure goals from Lara and Postiga. Had it not been for Kattimani the game would be been over in the first half. 

The second half began with Goa enjoying more of the ball and three substitutions got Goa back into the thick of the action. Julio Cesar was leading the charge and Mandaar was moving well on the left flank and Robin too pushing in multiple crosses. The breakthrought came it Mandaar scoring from distance with low and flat shot. After that goal, it was all Goa who were charging on ATK with increases attacks. With the numbers forward there was a danger to lose out number in defence. And it happened. Hume took a quick free kick in the Goa half and released Doutie who sprinted forward and played to an unmarked Pearson who was in space to finish easily. That ended Goa's hopes of coming back as the winning goal cam in very late in the game.
