ALL INDIA FOOTBALL FEDERATION (AIFF) General Secretary Kushal Das has reacted to the Goan clubs exiting from I-League.
Last night, Sporting Clube de Goa and Salgaocar FC confirmed that they are pulling out of I-League and this has saddened the fans across India.
Finally, a top official has expressed his concern over the issue. Das told the official AIFF website,
"Sporting Clube de Goa have contributed significantly to Indian Football since their inception. It's really sad to see them withdrawing from Hero I-League now."
This comes a few hours after I-League CEO reacted to Sporting Clube de Goa's official announcement by saying he had not been told about it.
