TFG Impact Wrestling review: New contender, Eddie Edwards Retains

THE LATEST EPISODE OF Impact Wrestling was an eventful one. Not only was the TNA World Championship on the line, but the promotion also crowned a new No.1 contender for the title.

The Hardys retained

Lashley become new contender

Former TNA champion Bobby Lashley went up against Moose in a Number one contenders match. After a lengthy physical match, Lashley came out on top to outclass Moose and secured a shot at the title. As Lashley’s win came in a clean manner, there is not chances of a twist in the tale as well.

Hardys retain

The Hardys defended their tag team championship against The Tribunal this week on Impact Wrestling. It was another successful defence for the champion but once the match was over, they drew battle lines with D.C.C. The segment ended with Hardys and D.C.C staring down each other.

Eddie retains the title

The title win of Eddie Edwards was a major talking point. It was a great moment for the former tag team champion and this week, he put the title on the line against Cody. The match managed to keep the fans on the edge of their seats and finally, Eddie managed to keep the gold intact. The champ showed great sportsmanship in the post-match segment where he raise the arms of Cody.
