Play-by-Play: Controversy-ridden Goal fest as both teams take a point a piece

A 3-3 GOAL FEST AT DELHI. It ended all square in the game but the score line doesn't reveal the headlines and talking points that lead to this final score. Mumbai went in the half time break leading comfortably by two goals to none. But Mumbai had no idea what was coming their way.

The Second half started on feisty note as the number of fouls were increasing by the minute. Delhi came in the game with what seemed like an offside but the goal stood. After that, Delhi had more fire in the attack. Then a Sony Norde moment happened and Mumbai took the lead again establishing a 2 goal cushion.Delhi weren't going to be sitting ducks they took the game to Mumbai and were rewarded a penalty which could be said was the game changer as Marcelinho stepped up and scored. The final goal was Badji's hard work where he received the ball in the box, the angle of scoring was against him. He was running away from goal and the keeper closing in yet managed to slip it past him into the goal to equalize for Delhi.

Mumbai were left in a shock with the response from Delhi, although the second and third of the goals were very debatable. Delhi would be happy to take the point as it was almost snatched away from Mumbai. And Mumbai on the other hand would blame the dropping of the 2 points on the referee.

Here's how the whole contest unfolded, in blow-by-blow detail from our real time updates and the commentary of Match no. 17 of Hero Indian Super League between Delhi Dynamos & Mumbai City FC
