Michael Chopra hits back, says Constantine has not achieved anything as a player
NATIONAL FOOTBALL TEAM coach Stephen Constantine few days back made it clear that striker Michael Chopra has passed his playing days and therefore won't find a place in the team.
To this the Kerala Blasters striker has hit back at the coach and said that his words don't affect him.
"Stephen Constantine can say whatever he wants. Personally, it's not a problem for me. Well has he achieved anything in the game as a player? No," said to PTI.
He also hinted at gaining a place in the Indian squad once Stephen is replaced. There were reports that suggested Constantine might not continue once his contract expires in February next year.
"As a manager what has he achieved, he has been India manager and was in Rwanada and other countries. I've heard reports about other managers taking over, so let's wait and see what happens."
