TFG Impact Wrestling Review: Delete or Decay Delivers, Grand Championship rules and more
The willingness of TNA to sail into uncharted waters was the major talking point of this week’s Impact Wrestling. After the huge success of Final Deletion, the company came up with Delete or Decay this week and it delivered big time.
Delete or Decay Delivers

While the Hardys were on one side, the crazy bunch of Abyss, Crazzy Steve and Rosemary formed the other side, guaranteeing a crazy ride for the fans that tuned in.
Delete or Decay was just that as it was filled with jaw-dropping stuff all around. It all started with fireworks all around. This was followed by battle sequences in the pool, usage of tasers, fights in the lake and much more.

Towards the end of the match, Jeff or Brother Nero as I should call him sacrificed himself for Matt by taking 2×4 with nails to the stomach. This outnumbered Matt against Abyss and Steve but then came Vanguard 1 with the save. The drone poured fireworks but was then taken down by Rosemary who spit liquid on to it.

The last shot of Delete or Decay saw Decay loading Senor Benjamin to the truck and driving off. This means that the storyline is far from over.
The Grand Championship is introduced
Another big takeaway from this week’s episode was the introduction of the Grand Championship. It was introduced in place of the King of the Mountain championship and it will follow MMA style rules. The matches will have 3 rounds each with three minutes with a 10 points system that has three judges. The match can end via submission or pin fall but if it goes the distance, the points of the judges will come into play.

Drew Galloway vs. Braxton Sutter was the first match under the rules and revealing the judges’ score after each rounds add extra layer of storytelling. Such rules allows the fans to know where the match is heading after each round, and this is where the success of this format lies as it can keep them on the edge of their seats.
Here are the complete results from Impact Wrestling:
- Moose turns on Mike Bennett
- Gail Kim and Jade def. Sienna and Allie
- Drew Galloway def. Braxton Sutter by submission in the 3rd Round to advance in Grand Championship Tournament
- EC III and Bobby Lashley brawled
- Eli Drake def. Jessie Godderz to advance in the Grand Championship tournament
- Delete or Decay happened
