TFG Fantasy Pundit: Plenty of options in all departments, but choose wisely

Overview 

The first ODI between Aus & Sri will be played at Colombo and one can expect a decent wicket for the batsmen to bat on. However, the Lankan spinners will have their say too. Plenty of options in all categories, the key is to pick as per the conditions.  

Probable 11 for the round 

AUS- David Warner, Aaron Finch, Shaun Marsh/Usman Khawaja, Steve Smith, George Bailey, Moises Henriques, James Faulkner, Mathew Wade, Mitchell Starc, Coulter-Nile, Adam Zampa

SRI- T Dilshan, Dinesh Chandimal, Kusal Mendis, Kusal Perera, Angelo Mathews, Danusha Gunathilaka, Milinda Siriwardena, T Perera, Seekuge Prasanna, Suranga Lakmal, Lakshan Sandakan/Nuwan Pradeep 

Players who cannot be ignored 

Steve Smith- He was arguably the best batsman for the Aussies in Test and will continue to do so in the ODIs too. 

Kusal Mendis- With a compact game and the hunger to score, he deserves to be in every fantasy team. 

Mitchell Starc- Will be the lead striker for the visitors with the ball. Watch out for those blockholes. 

Dark Horses 

Adam Zampa- He is coming off a high from CPL and will make a difference. 

George Bailey- A very crafty batsman, who knows to play as per the demands of the conditions.
