Cricket Association Bengal announce cancellation of AGM

CRICKET ASSOCIATION BENGAL (CAB) have announced the cancellation of its annual general meeting (AGM), which was initially scheduled to be held on July 31.

Following the Supreme Court verdict on Lodha committee report, it was reported that the meeting would be postponed by the board. However, after having a discussion with legal advisor Ushanath Banerjee, the CAB officials have taken a decision to call off AGM.

As reported by cricbuzz, Banerjee said,

"The AGM stands cancelled. Appropriate notice has been issued to all the members. The AGM will be held only after making all the necessary changes suggested by the Supreme Court.”

It was also reported that the 85th Annual general meeting is likely to see Ganguly get re-elected as the CAB president.
