After being forced of Invicta 18 due to visa issues, Manjit Kolekar will fight at Invicta 19 in September.
Manjit, who is undefeated (9-0), was expected to make her Invicta debut against Lynn Alvarez at Invicta 18 on July 29. The match had captured the attention the Indian MMA fans as well but unfortunately for Manjit, problems with her Visa forced her to pull out of the event.
Invicta then went on to replace Manjit with seasoned strawweight fighter, Mizuki Inoue.
However, there is good news for Manjit as her manager confirmed with The Fan Garage that she will be appearing in the Invicta 19 card which is set to take place in September.
The opponent and exact date of the event is yet to be revealed. Manjit’s debut at Invicta is a much-awaited event for the Indian MMA community as it could only lead to bigger things for her and the other Indian MMA fighters.
