Fourth seed Ajay ousted from US Open after losing to Kanta in SF

FOURTH SEED AJAY JAYARAM'S winning run came to an end after losing his semi-final match against Kanta Tsuneyama at the US Open Grand Prix Gold.

Facing the Japanese for the first time, Ajay gave away the match without a fight. It was an easy win for Kanta 21-10, 21-14.

It was a great run that the Indian had in the tournament, the lone face that qualified to the semis. He had missed out on the title in Canada too. But he has made a good comeback after taking break to focus on his training.

Still happy that I was able to play and get this far after the shoulder scare last week.A big thanks for all the support and good wishes.
