#TFGBREAKING: Jon Jones out of UFC 200 after potential doping violation

The Daniel Cormier vs. Jon Jones fight, which was the main event of UFC 200 has been called off by UFC due to a potential doping violation from Jon Jones.

UPDATE: The B sample of Jon Jones was also tested positive.

Shocking turn of events

Jones was tested positive for the samples USADA took on June 16. Due to the cancellation of the fight, the Mark Hunt vs. Brock Lesnar match has been made a three-round main event fight by UFC.

Dana White revealed the same during a press conference in Las Vegas, just two days before the grand event. Dana said that it’s clearly unfortunate and confirmed that UFC will be looking out for an opponent for Daniel Cormier despite the short notice.

"Maybe someone will pop up and fight Cormier at the last minute. Stranger things have happened,” Dana said.

The frustration of Dana White was well evident from the press conference and he closed out the same with the following words

"This sucks. This is unfortunate."

Cormier also reacted to the situation.

“I don’t know exactly how to explain how I’m feeling right now. I guess if Jon was back and the fight was the fight, I would take it. I'm just here to fight. I've trained hard and long and if anybody would fight, I would still fight at UFC 200” he said.

Cormier also said that he is also willing to increase his weight to get a fight.
