Sai Praneeth & Attri/Reddy storm into the finals of Canada GP

MEN'S SINGLES SHUTTLER Sai Praneeth is currently enjoying a great outing at the Canada Grand Prix as he has earned a place in the finals. The fourth seed defeated Frenchman Brice Leverdez in a thrilling three game match 22-20, 19-21, 21-12.

Last year Praneeth won four International Challenge titles. This is first final this year at Canada. He plays third seed Lee Hyun in the finals. The head-to-head count favours the Korean, 1-0.

Meanwhile top seed Ajay Jayaram was trumped in the semis by Lee Hyun in straight games 21-9, 21-8. The scores reveal that Ajay did not put up a fight at all, instead it was an easy and comfortable victory for the Korean.

Good news in the men's doubles category too as top seeds Manu Attri/Sumeeth Reddy are in the finals and will play local pair of Adrian Liu/Toby Ng in the final. The Indian duo defeated Andrei Adistia/Dong Adam 21-15, 21-19 in the semis.
