The Great India Run: Milind Soman to run from Ahemdabad to Mumbai covering 570 kms
BOLLYWOOD ACTOR AND MODEL who at present is a long distance runner, Milind Soman is all ready to set a new benchmark. He will be running from Ahemdabad to Mumbai covering a distance of 570 kilometres via Silvassa.
The mastermind behind India's first ever mutli-city marathon "The Great India Run" ProSportify announced the inclusion of Silvassa as special route. The event is scheduled from 17 July to 6 August and it will witness 15 best Ultra Marathoners from India and the world passing through six states, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Marathon and Delhi covering a total distance of 1480 kms.
The idea behind this is to promote running as a sport in the country.
“I am happy to hear that The Great India Run will pass through Silvassa. It will create a lot of excitement for endurance running in the region and personally, I am looking forward to running in that beautiful place,” said Milind.
