Bopanna/Mergea storm into R2 of French Open
SIXTH SEEDS Rohan Bopanna and Florin Mergea came through their first round match in convincing fashion against Frenchmen S Robert/A Sidorenko 6-2, 6-2 at Roland Garros today.
In the opener, the Indo-Romanian pair looked solid and broke the crowd favourites twice to wrap up the set.
In the second set too, a similar trend followed as Bopanna/Mergea gained total control over the match and progressed ahead into the next round.
