I will hit 6 sixes again, Yuvraj promises a young kid

INDIA BATSMAN Yuvraj Singh spent his evening in a special way giving some vital tips to young cancer survivors. The southpaw, who hit a quick-fire 42 of 24 to guide Sunrisers Hyderabad to a 7-wicket win against Kings XI Punjab, interacted with a group of children at the PCA stadium.

As reported by PTI, when a young kid asked Yuvraj if he will again hit those six sixes, the 34-year old said,

“You pray, I will hit six sixes again.”

Reflecting upon his feat, however, the middle-order batsman added that he doesn’t know how he had hit those six sixes.

After the openers had got the team off to a solid start against Kings XI Punjab, the flamboyant batsman watchfully compiled and paced his knock to take the team to the finish line. In an interview with iplt20.com, the 2011 world-cup hero said that he was pleased to have finished the game.

“We needed that win. (I feel) Very good! I wanted to finish the game. It has been a while since I finished the game. I had a good knock against Mumbai Indians where I could play in the end, so that’s what I try and do.”
