Seven Indians qualify for main draw at at the Asian Junior Tennis Championships

JOLETA BUDIMAN OF INDONESIA was the lone foreigner along with seven Indians to qualify for the main draw in the girls and the boys event at  the BVG India, MSLTA B1 ITF Asian Junior Tennis Championships.

It is organized by the Maharashtra State Lawn tennis Association and the Pune Metropolitan District Tennis Association played at MSLTA School of tennis at The Mhalunge Balewadi tennis Complex in Pune. 

In the boys event Rishabh Sharda , Abhimanyu Vannemreddy,Aditya Vashisht and M Senthilkumar made it to the main draw which gets underway tommorrow.

In the girls Shivani Amineni ,Harsha Sai Challa, Humera Begum Shaikh were the Indian girls to qualify apart from the Indonesian Joleta. 

In the boys singles Abhimanyu Vannemreddy got past  HO Denton of Hong Kong  6-3, 6-2; 
While Aditya Vashisht quelled Ryuki Matsuda of Japan 6-3, 6-7(6), 6-1 to  emerge winner and qualify for the  main draw.

The main draw matches will start on May 2 after the inauguration at the hands of former Davis cupper and former Asian junior championship winner sandeep Kirtane local bit Siddanth Bantia of pune and kaivalya kalamse of Nanded were awarded the wild card for the men's event , while Shivani ingle of pune and Jitisha Shastri of Nasik were awarded the local wildcard in the Girls event.
