HS Prannoy slips to No. 30 and Kashyap to No. 25
THE RANKINGS OF men's singles shuttlers HS Prannoy and Parupalli Kashyap has hit a new low in the official rankings released by the Badminton World Federation (BWF) released on Thursday. Prannoy slipped seven spots to No. 30 from 23 while Kashyap dipped 5 spots to No. 25 from 20 respectively.
Prannoy is currently participating in the China Masters Grand Prix Gold, where he will play his quarter-final match today. Kashyap, on the other hand is resting after undergoing a knee surgery.
Women's doubles pair of Jwala Gutta/Ashwini Ponnappa who will also be seen in action later today for their quarter-final slipped one spot to No. 16.
Women's singles shuttlers Saina Nehwal and PV Sindhu's rankings remained the same at No. 8 and 10 respectively and so did men's singles players Kidambi Srikanth and Ajay Jayaram's, No. 13 and No. 21. Men's doubles duo Manu Attri/Sumeeth Reddy's ranking also remains the same at No. 20.
