Pune City set to unveil Antonio Lopez Habas as their new head coach for ISL 2016

FORMER ATLETICO DE KOLKATA manager Antonio Lopez Habas is set to join FC Pune City as their coach for the third edition of the Hero Indian Super League.

Having won the debut season of the tournament and making it to the semis in the second, FC Pune City will be hoping for a similar show under the Spaniard's tutelage. Serving as a manager for 15 plus years at different clubs in Spain and being hugely successful at ATK, Lopez will be positively looking forward to his new role as the FC Pune City head coach.

With David Platt in command, the Pune franchise, which is co-owned by Bollywod actor Hrithik Roshan, Wadhawan Group and Italian club ACF Fiorentina, ended ISL 2015 at a seventh spot. This came after they finished 7th in the inaugural edition of the private tournament. FC Pune City will be looking to end their misery this time with the Spanish veteran who has a proven track record in ISL at the helm. 

The formal unveiling of Habas as the new FC Pune City gaffer will take place on Monday in the city.
