Glenn Maxwell cautioned for showing dissent
KINGS XI PUNJAB BATSMAN Glenn Maxwell was cautioned for showing dissent at an umpire's decision during his team's eight wicket loss to the Delhi Daredevils yesterday.
As reported by the PTI,
"In the VIVO IPL match in Delhi last evening, Glenn Maxwell for Kings XI Punjab was reprimanded by the Match Referee for showing dissent at the umpire's decision. Maxwell admitted to the Level 1 offence and accepted the sanction," a press release said.
The Australian would like to forget about the whole incident as he had a poor match in terms of on-field performance as well. First he played a poor stroke off Amit Mishra to be caught at long-off of only his third delivery for a duck and then conceded 11 runs in the only over he bowled in the game.
