No negative impact of limited overs cricket on Tests, says Ravindra Jadeja

INDIAN ALL-ROUNDER Ravindra Jadeja feels that there is no negative impact of limited-overs cricket on the longer format of the game. The Gujarat Lions' player also said that cricketers these days are very quick to switching formats.

As reported by PTI, Jadeja said,
"Players adapt to the situation very quickly and I don't think there would be any negative impact on players because of limited-overs cricket."

The amount of cricket played these days across all formats has forced the players to shift from one format to another easily. In fact, the impact of limited overs cricket has given more result-oriented Test matches today.

The Gujarat Lions chased down Rising Pune Supergiants' score of 164 with relative ease yesterday as openers Aaron Finch and Brendon McCullum gave them a good start up-front.
"Finch and McCullum are power-hitters and they gave us a flying start by adding 85 runs in less then nine overs that eased the pressure on the middle-order batsmen," Jadeja said.
The Lions now have two wins in as many games and will now play the Mumbai Indians in their own den tomorrow.
